  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey patties, I used Jennie-O
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce, I used Kona Coast Spicy Teriyaki
  • 4 slices of pineapple, fresh or canned
  • 1/2 sliced red onion
  • mixed greens, optional
  • 4 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 4 slices Pepper jack cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  1. Heat grill, or grill pan, to medium-high heat and coat with oil or non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Season turkey patties on both sides with salt and pepper, to taste.

  3. Place turkey patties on grill and cook approximately 5 minutes on one side, flip patties and brush with teriyaki sauce.

Cook for another 5 minutes and flip again.

Brush the other side with teriyaki sauce and cook for approximately 2 minutes. Continue to brush with teriyaki sauce and flip the patties until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. (This should take approximately 15-20 minutes total)

  4. Top patties with cheese and continue to cook until the cheese has melted. Remove from grill and set aside.

  5. While the turkey patties cook, add sliced pineapple and red onion to the grill and cook for a few minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Set aside.

  6. While turkey patties rest, stir together mayo and Sriracha and spread onto hamburger buns.

  7. Top buns with mixed greens, cooked teriyaki turkey burgers, grilled pineapple and red onion.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
